Taos County Spay and Neuter Van comes to Questa! It is $10 per cat or dog to register your pet or stray for two years to qualify for free spay and neuter. Please call Taos County Animal Control to schedule an appointment to spay, neuter and register your animal. Leave a message and the Animal Control office will call back early in the morning, at lunch time or in the evening, as they are out in the field most of the day.  (575) 737-6488.

Olympic Medalist, Mariah Duran comes to Red River

New Mexico’s own Olympic Medalist, Mariah Duran is coming to help dedicate Red River’s Mallette Park’s new skate park!!!

Mariah Duran
2016 was a breakout year for Duran as she took home the silver medal at X Games and released two full street parts before turning pro for Meow Skateboards.
In 2017, Mariah achieved her first Street League podium finish at the Super Crown World Championship. Duran is a back-to-back Women’s Street X Games gold medalist.
Mariah is the face of adidas’ Olympics / skateboarding initiatives. Representing the next generation of female street skaters, her skating is super technical.
Mariah made the 2019 and 2020 USA Skateboarding teams and is pumped to represent her country on the road to the 1st-ever Skateboarding Olympic Games.
