The Library has a large collection of books covering the history, geography, geology, art, and photography of the Southwest, including stories about the settling of Questa and the San Luis Valley.
Many local businesses and individuals, as well as granting agencies, provided the initial funds, goods, and services to the nascent library; their contributions were critical in making the library a reality for our community. The Friends of the Questa Public Library is now engaged in fund raising to develop the Library further.
The Questa Public Library is the result of local volunteer effort and countywide and statewide financial support. The Founding Questa Public Library Committee first met on November 24th, 2003 to explore the possibility of establishing a public library in Questa.
